Multiplexing Standards: Impact on Handset Design

We have just described how RF channel allocation influences RF performance and
handset design. Multiplexing standards are similarly influenced by the way RF channels
are allocated. In turn, multiplexing standards influence handset design.
There are three options, or a combination of one or more of these:
 Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA)
 Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA)
 Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
