Base Station Controller (BSC)

The BSC is responsible for controlling all the BTSs under its domain. The
BSC routes packets to and from the BTSs to the PDSN. In addition, the
BSC routes Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) traffic to the circuitswitched
platforms and it routes packet data to the PDSN.
