Security vs. Services Provided

Every service and technology provided to users carries some level of security risks. Some services, such as wireless technologies, involve risks that could be somewhat obvious. Others might involve hidden risks that go unexploited for an extended period of time. In some cases, the decision might be made that the risks outweigh the potential benefits and the service should be eliminated rather than efforts made to secure it.
