The time-range command is used to enable Time-Range Configuration mode and name time ranges for functions, such as extended access lists. The command is issued in Global Configuration mode. The syntax is:

Router(config)#time-range time-range-name

time-range-name

User-specified name of the time range

The following output demonstrates defining a time range named NoDayAccess. Remember, the name is case sensitive.

Router(config)#time-range NoDayAccess
