802.11b Security Algorithms

The algorithm in 802.11b offers few security options to keep your data
protected against a persistent hacker. 802.11b is an open system by
default, meaning that authentication and encryption servers based on
the WEP algorithm are not activated by default. Even when they are activiated, given enough time, a hacker can break this algorithm and
force access into your WLAN.
